This policy explains how Koinophobe (“we”, “us”) handles your personal data on this site. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the site and respond to you.
Who is responsible
Koinophobe is responsible for the personal data described here. For any privacy question or request, contact michael@koinophobe.com.
What we collect and why
- Email and bookings: your name, email, website and anything you write, used to reply to you and to run the call you booked. Bookings are handled by Cal.com.
- Analytics: anonymous usage data (pages viewed, rough location, device) via Google Analytics, only if you accept cookies. IP addresses are anonymized.
- Server logs: standard technical logs kept by the host for security and reliability.
Who we share it with
Only the processors needed to run the site: the hosting provider (Vercel), the booking service (Cal.com, if you book a call), and Google Analytics (if you consent). We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
Inquiry emails are kept only as long as needed to handle our correspondence and any resulting work. Analytics data follows Google's retention settings. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
Your privacy rights
We don't sell or share your personal information, and we don't use it for targeted advertising. You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and you won't be treated differently for asking. Residents of California and other states with privacy laws have these rights by law. Email michael@koinophobe.com and we'll respond within 45 days.
Visitors from the EU and UK
If the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to you, we process booking and email data to take steps at your request, analytics data only with your consent, and server logs on the basis of legitimate interest. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data; restrict or object to processing; request portability; and withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. Some of our processors are based outside the EU and UK; where data leaves them, it is covered by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
